Bonnymede
The Bonnymede condominium complex in Montecito was constructed in 1965 and consists of 113 condos. Bonnymede residents enjoy Bonnymede’s fabulous location next to the famed Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel and Coral Casino. The many shopping and dining opportunities of Montecito’s “Lower Village” are within easy walking distance just a few blocks away. Bonnymede is a guarded and gated condo enclave with pool, spa and tennis facilities as well as a beachside entertainment area with truly breathtaking views of the coastline in both directions.
There is a variety of floorplans within Bonnymede, including 10 single level 3 bedroom/3 bath units, 28 single level 2 bedroom/2.5 units, 30 townhouse style 2 bedroom/2.5 bath units, 30 ground floor 1 bedroom/1 bath units (which have the townhouses above them) and 15 “breezeway studios.”
The current Association fees in Bonnymede depend on a particular condo’s square footage and percentage of the Common Area. The fees range from $493/month for Bonnymede’s smallest studio (which is 598 sq.ft.) to $2,267/month for the largest 3 bedroom unit (which is 2,164 sq.ft.).

Montecito Shores
The Montecito Shores, which shares the same guarded entry and fabulous Montecito location as Bonnymede, was constructed in 1974 and consists of 99 condos. Montecito Shores is a separate condo association from Bonnymede and residents enjoy Montecito Shores’ own pool, spa and tennis facilities.
Unlike Bonnymede’s “tropical style” architecture, Montecito Shores is Spanish style and every building in Montecito Shores is three stories. Each building consists of three towers, so there are no common walls between the units in Montecito Shores and every unit is single level.
Montecito Shores has 21 single level 3 bedroom/2.5 bath units, 45 single level 2 bedroom/2 bath units with a formal dining room and fireplace, and 33 single level 2 bedroom/2 bath units without the formal dining room or fireplace.
The current Association fees in Montecito Shores are $1,369/month for the 2 bedroom units and $1,497/month for the 3 bedroom units.
